Everyone should support the decision made by the Cabinet on the advice of the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development that listed companies must meet the requirement of 30% representation of women at the highest decision-making levels within 5 years as it ensures the improvement of women’s rights, the security of women as well as gender equality.
Support must be given for the 30% quota of female representation in companies.

MCA will not encourage and will not allow our members to participate. This is the position taken by the MCA Presidential Council when it convened its meeting this afternoon at Wisma MCA.

Little Girl Becomes Disabled - 26th May, 2011
26th May, 2011 - A 4 year-old girl Zeti became disabled 4 months ago as a result of Dravet Syndrome, now she has become blind and unable to walk properly. Her father Mohd Khairi is a cook and mother is a housewife, and because of bearing the cost of medical and living expenses they owe big amount to along. The 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT has promised to apply the subsidy for disabled and also 1MCA Medical Fund, the 1MCA Medical Fund is open for all races and to help to repay the medical expenses for the low-income group.
Water Pressure Problem - 22nd May, 2011
22nd May, 2011 - The residents in Bukit Weld have been facing the low water pressure problem for many years, residents live upstairs have to carry buckets filled water from ground floor. The 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT's deputy leader Frankie Gan pointed out it was also due to the old and rusty piping system, and the residents did not channel the complaints to the proper department. The team has directed the issue to the Minister of Energy, Green Technology and Water, Dato' Sri Peter Chin Fah Kui. Residents also complained the frequency of rubbish collection, it used to be once a day but lately became once in 3 to 4 days, team leader Banie Chin has contacted the DBKL and they promised to readjust the timetable in two days.

19th May, 2011 - The MCA Youth, together with 1Malaysia Community Alliance Foundation organized an event for free medical check-up for the residents of Razak Mansion Flats. The free medical check-up included testing of BMI, high-blood pressure, cholesterol level etc. And it was open for all races, and also free intestinal worm check-up for the children.

217 Hawkers in Pudu Obtain Licence - 29th Apr, 2011
29th Apr, 2011 - 15 years of waiting and finally, 217 hawkers obtained their licence. Federal Territories and Urban Wellbeing Minister Datuk Raja Nong Chik Raja Zainal Abidin, in a ceremony together with the 1Malaysia Task Force Team together issue the licence to the hawkers. He said the issuance of licence indicates the government recognizes the contribution by the hawkers in the country's economic development, he also advised the hawkers not to sub-let their licence to other parties.

Shoe Trader's Woes - 27th Apr, 2011
27th Apr, 2011 - A shoe trader aged 61, was unable to walk after encountered a robbery while on his way home few months ago. He stayed on 4th floor and heavily relied on people to deliver food to his doorsep, 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT visited his home and found out it was not a suitable place for him. The team has made an effort by looking for a old folks home to shelter him, also there are people to look after him.

马华直辖区《一个大马工作队》认为土权主席依布拉欣阿里今日所指责马华总会长蔡细历之言论有不知所谓之嫌,更贴切的说法是他根本“马不知脸长”,该立即闭起恶嘴解散。
首先必须纠正依布拉欣的错觉,他是一位政治声誉破产的议员,从回教党,到独立人士,到如今在政治没有本钱的他,不断使用一个非政府组织的平台来发表政治言论,向巫统示好,除了矮化非政府组织监督作用,更强烈表现恶心的政治手腕。
依布拉欣尝试偷换概念,将原本全民远大的政治愿景,《一个马来西亚》精神说成个人的道德问题;尝试将土权的横行霸道,无理取闹,无中生有,说成是马华总会长对土权诬赖。
大马是一个文明国家,有着言论自由,依布拉欣当然可以针对本身所想畅所欲言,但不能指鹿为马,不能尝试用他的无知来误导全民;在纳吉为首的国阵政府,从来 就不能有像土权般的小丑,不能容纳一个不断剥夺其他族群权益的野蛮组织,土权被国阵垂弃是迟早的事情,只有依布拉欣自欺欺人的在使用言论暴力,掩饰本身的 短处。

Monitoring Water Quality - 26th Apr, 2011
26th Apr, 2011 - The complaints received regarding water quality has dropped due to program of monitoring water quality carried out by SYABAS. To continue the effort, SYABAS, 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT, residential association and local business community have work together to form a squad to patrol the area to monitor the water quality. This is to ensure the local residents will continue getting the clean water supply.

MRT Stations to Install CCTV - 25th Apr, 2011
25th Apr, 2011 - MRT stations connnecting Sungai Buloh and Kajang to be installed CCTVs for security and safety purposes. Also the prices of the land areas surrounding the MRT routes are expected to rise, but the size of land areas to be taken for the MRT project has yet to be decided.

MRT Project, MCA drafts 10 proposals - 12th Apr, 2011
12th Apr, 2011 - The 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT has already made 10 suggestions to the MRT Project connecting Sungai Buloh to Kajang. These 10 proposals have taken into consideration in the aspects of comfort, safety, reliability and usability for the passengers e.g. to put canopy in the area connecting MRT station to bus station.

Taman Connaught Garbage Problem - 8th Apr, 2011
8th Apr, 2011 - The garbage accumulated in Taman Connaught for over 1 week and Alam Flora didn't clear it, the 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT went and surveyed the area at Jalan Saujana. The team immediately called up the Alam Flora office to raise the issue and within 24 hours, the garbage was removed from the affected area.

Awaiting Allocated Flat Units - 7th Apr, 2011
7th Apr, 2011 - After the fire incident destroyed their houses in 2007, seven households still awaiting flat units allocated for them. One of the affected resident discovered the case has been classified as "Close File" case, and there's no updates from Cheras MP Tan Kok Wai. The 1Malaysia Task Force Team - FT has given assistance by refilling the application form to acquire the flat units, and to follow-up the case closely.
