Jalan Alor Hawkers - 15th Jan, 2011

15th Jan, 2011 - The hawkers of Jalan Alor were unhappy when City Hall confiscated their tables and chairs place by the roadside. As we all know, Jalan Alor is a tourist spot where foreign and local people frequent. The hawkers suggested to seal off the entire Jalan Alor, while the residents objected because it might cause inconvenience to them. The MCA FT held a meeting to resolve this issue, and urged the hawkers and the Hawker Association to settle the matter once and for all.
