August 1, 2011 - The contradicting statements made by the Penang Chief Minister Lim Guan Eng and his political secretary Ng Wei Aik is proof that the DAP state government still has no intention to be honest to the people and only wants to confuse Penangites. Normally, DAP would have their statements coordinated. But this round their “scripts” contradict each other.

During the Barisan Nasional administration of Penang state, DAP had vigorously attacked the 30% Bumiputera quota. But now when DAP is in power in Penang, not a single state government project for the Drainage and Irrigation Department in the five districts has been awarded to a Chinese bidder. Is this not a form of pitting the Chinese against the Chinese?

28 July 2011 - When Barisan Nasional helmed Penang state, there never was a need to hold press conference condemning fellow party comrades publicly. DAP had criticized the existence of Little Napoleans when they were still in the Opposition vowing to rid the state administration of cronyism. But now that they are in power, not only are they unable to remove Little Napoleans, DAP state government office bearers are also steeped in bureaucratic red tape.

MCA Selangor – No grounds for PAS to object MTV concert

20 July 2011 - As observed in Afghanistan when hardline religious edicts by the Taliban outlawed all forms of entertainment like theatres, concerts and television sets, PAS intends to regress Malaysia back to the Dark Ages. This will send a worrying message to international tourists and foreign investors to stay away from Malaysia just like how international communities shun investing in Afghanistan.

20 July 2011 - MPs and the people of Malaysia are perfectly within their right to oppose an event, especially if there are legitimate complaints. When problems arise, it is the job of those in power to find a mutually beneficial solution that satisfies all parties. The complaints of the people should not be a platform in which a politician twists the message into an assault against any party (government or commercial entity) as PAS has done with their opposition of the MTV World Stage concert.
